MARCO CRISPO
conductor

Over the past several years Marco Crispo’s contagious enthusiasm and driving personality has brought him to the close attention of audiences and orchestras.
In the 23/24 season Marco conducts Tosca in Copenhagen with Lyngby-Taarbæk Symphony Orchestra, Hänsel und Gretel at the Landestheater in Coburg, Il Turco in Italia at the Teatro Sociale in Rovigo and at the Teatro Dante Alighieri in Ravenna with the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini. The following year Marco will return to Operaen i Midten to conduct the Danish premiere of Cericola’s opera Pinocchio.

Andrés Gabetta, the founder and the leader of the Gabetta Consort, has interpreted well known baroque master pieces as well as he has explored less common and unpublished pieces from the baroque repertoire that he has discovered after several years of research. We can find some of these unique pieces in his discography frequently considered as one of the most refined baroque recordings.

The beauty of the voice and the rich mezzosoprano timbre, the dramatic talent and the stage presence have allowed to Julia Gertseva to tread the best stages in the world: Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Bavarian Staatsoper, Royal Theater of Madrid, Mariinsky of Saint Petersburg, Bolshoi of Moscow, Wiener Staatsoper among many others.

Geneva-based Japanese pianist Shio Okui began her career at an early stage. Since the age of eight, she has appeared with many orchestras in various countries.
At the age of 12, she performed with the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Valery Gergiev and signed with the JapanArts. Since then, she has performed with world renown conductors including Mikhail Pletnev, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Vladimir Spivakov, Kazuki Yamada, Jiří Rožeň.

Brilliant performer of refined musicality, winner of many international competitions Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi has collaborated with prominent names of classical music such as Angela Gheorghiu, Anna Netrebko, Erwin Schrott, Andrea Griminelli and Andrea Bocelli.

His greatest gift is the ability to create an immediate and strong feeling with the public attending to his performances. First Prize Winner of the prestigious competition Premio Venezia XXXVII in 2021.

SERGEY SMBATYAN
conductor

Sergey Smbatyan is the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and the Principal Conductor of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. An avid popularizer of classical music, the conductor has an extensive international engagement, and is committed to rejuvenating the classical music audiences and the promotion of contemporary classical music globally.
